Petra

While in Jordan we went to Petra, which needs its own post because it was the highlight of the trip and we spent a whole day there.

Petra is a Nabatanean city where the buildings are carved out of the rock. It's famous for being on Indiana Jones. We walked all together to the Treasury and we split for a day of free time. And the adventure begins!

They are so beautiful and really well-preserved!
I got to do the coolest thing ever too. Ride a camel!! It only cost 3 dollars and I got to cross it off my bucket list!

Christine this is for you, it's as close as I could get to kiss a camel! :)
We first went to the high place in Petra, which was a long but fun hike
We took some fun Star Wars Sand People pictures

The rocks are so pretty and cool looking.

The monastery was so huge, and at the tip top of a mountain  so it had a beautiful view. Devery and I

We got cool necklaces. I traded mine for two mints!

Paige is an awesome roommate.
I took so many camel pictures, they are so cool looking!
Petra was so good, we climbed the high place and the monastery before lunch and it was the best lunch ever, I don't know if it was because it really was good or because we were so exhausted from hiking. I had a great time at Petra, and at Jordan.
